We survived the Great Central Texas Blizzard of 2009 . . . and even caught some of the action on video. It only snowed for about 20 minutes (and none of it stuck), but we still had fun experiencing this rare treat.

We're Josh & Colleen Benefield. We met and started dating while juniors at La Porte High School in La Porte, Texas. We continued dating during our years at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and after graduating, getting jobs, and moving to Austin, we got hitched in June of 2001.
