I usually turn on the Roomba (i.e., robot vacuum cleaner) after we leave the house, but this time I thought it might be fun for Kate to check it out . . .

A Beach Retreat

To celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary (it was on June 2nd), Josh and I spent a few days in South Padre Island while my folks came to our house to watch Kate. This was the first time for us to leave her overnight. She did great! My parents had a wonderful time with their grandbaby, and Josh and I were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that she was so well cared for. They even mowed our yard and had supper waiting for us when we got back! How blessed are we??!

Ahh...it was a nice mini-vacation. Of course much of what we talked about was how fun it'll be to bring Kate to the beach next time. I'm already looking forward it! Thanks again, Grandma and Grandpa!
